While this is not a specific home schooling event, I thought I would pass this along to anyone interested:
When: Saturday, September 8, 10:30 am
Where: Marquette Commons (same place as the Farmer's Market is held)
What: Learn the basics of water bath canning with experienced instructor Lucia Patritto of MSU Ext. Though instruction is geared towards beginning canning, our instructor will also be able to answer questions on pressure canning, freezing, and drying food so participants of all skill levels are welcome.
